Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Susan Ward & Tony Williams on their wedding day.  Susan & Tony were an awesome couple to work with.  The day was absolutely beautiful (albeit a little on the warm side) and I have to give big kudos to Susan’s dad, Brian, who had the constitution to sing “Butterfly Kisses” before his daughter walked down the aisle.  I don’t know how he did it (or at least I won’t tell) but it was a very emotional song and really seemed to me to symbolize the strength their families gave them.  The ceremony was held at the Milford Church of God and the reception was held at the Harrington Community Hall. The very talented Paula Mignogno from Barefoot Studios was the photographer for the day and she was absolutely fantastic to work with.
Here’s another digital animated photo montage we produced recently for our latest newlywed couple, Christina & Kit. This one was a lot of work. Our montages normally come in around 50 pictures. This was 136. So the challenge became how to keep people’s interest for 13 minutes. We think we did a pretty decent job — we got a standing ovation at the reception (or, well, they did).
We used primarly After Effects for this but have started to play with our new best friend, Cinema 4D as well. We think the results were pretty spectacular.
It’s nights like these that I realize we have the best job in the world. Â What do you get when you mix the best videographers, the best photographers, the best DJ and the best venue with two of the coolest people we’ve met in a long time? Â You get pure magic. Â Arguably, Sarah and Mike combined the absolute best talent on the Eastern Shore of Delmarva and got a wedding day that is, hands down, one of the best events we’ve attended in a long time.
