If you don’t know what to get your mom and dad this christmas season, why not let us help? Take some of those old VHS tapes of you and your kids and transfer them to DVD and give them a great present that they will appreciate this year.
VHS technology is dying and it’s getting harder and harder to find VHS players in the store anymore. Tapes are brittle and degenerate over time. Do you really want to put those tapes into your VCR and find that they have been replaced with snow and static?
Give us your old VHS tapes and we will put them through our professional grade VCRs to restore them to the best possible quality and then convert them to DVD for you. We’ll use the same professional quality DVD’s that we use for our wedding videos and then also give you a professional created DVD case with artwork so that you can really surprise your family this holiday season.
Visit our VHS to DVD transfer page and fill out the form and we’ll get started on your project right away. Â Plus, if you mention that you saw this advertisement on our blog, we’ll knock an additional $5.00 off each DVD.
Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Susan Ward & Tony Williams on their wedding day.  Susan & Tony were an awesome couple to work with.  The day was absolutely beautiful (albeit a little on the warm side) and I have to give big kudos to Susan’s dad, Brian, who had the constitution to sing “Butterfly Kisses” before his daughter walked down the aisle.  I don’t know how he did it (or at least I won’t tell) but it was a very emotional song and really seemed to me to symbolize the strength their families gave them.  The ceremony was held at the Milford Church of God and the reception was held at the Harrington Community Hall. The very talented Paula Mignogno from Barefoot Studios was the photographer for the day and she was absolutely fantastic to work with.
Here’s another digital animated photo montage we produced recently for our latest newlywed couple, Christina & Kit. This one was a lot of work. Our montages normally come in around 50 pictures. This was 136. So the challenge became how to keep people’s interest for 13 minutes. We think we did a pretty decent job — we got a standing ovation at the reception (or, well, they did).
We used primarly After Effects for this but have started to play with our new best friend, Cinema 4D as well. We think the results were pretty spectacular.
Well, another tremendously successful year for Seaside Dance Academy based out of Berlin, MD. Every year around the beginning of June, they hold their annual spring concert at Wicomico High School and every year they tear the roof off the place. It’s a LONG day for us … They have two programs (one at noon and another at 6:30pm and they each last about 3 hours) … but man the girls make it a lot of fun and we have enjoyed ourselves shooting their recital for the past 3 years. Here’s a little photo montage showing off some of the girls (and guys) and their very talented dance teams.
Videos will take about 8 weeks to put together so if you are still interested in ordering one, contact us and we’ll get yours out as soon as they’re available.
The Seaford Dance Center has started, over the past few years, incorporating lyrical dances as part of their annual spring concert. We really enjoy them because it gives us the opportunity to get a little creative with the dances and make them a little more than they were. This year the teen girls also decided to do their version of Michael Jackson’s Thriller. This started our fun times with smoke machines and fire departments!
Anyway, long story short, here’s an “enhanced” version of their dance.
Well, despite the brush with the fire department, the Seaford Dance Center’s 2009 concert was a tremendous success. Â However this year marked both a happy and sad time for us and the studio… 4 of the girls we’ve watched grow up over the past 6 years of recording these programs have graduated and are moving on to college. Â Emotions were high for the girls, the studio and their families and it really showed in their performances. Â Taylor, Emily, Aubrey & Krisha good luck in everything you do. Â You will always have a home here.
As a tribute to the girls, here are their solo dances that they performed. Â The songs and choreography were both chosen by each of the girls and they all did a tremendous job.
If you are interested, we still have copies for sale of this year (and past year’s) performance. Â Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing one of these videos.
This is a little promotional video we put together for Baywood Greens. Â We recently shot Sarah & Mike’s wedding there and had such a great time that we wanted to do a little promo piece for them to show how beautiful the place is. Â If you are planning a wedding, we highly encourage you to take a look at Baywood Greens. Â Simply beautiful.
Well, we’ve officially wrapped up our ‘08 season with this wonderful couple. Â Sarah & Mike were married at Baywood Greens on October 11, 2008. Â There’s not much more to say other than we really enjoyed working with Sarah, Mike and both their families. Â Everyone had a great time and we hope this video reflects that.
If you didn’t get a chance to check out their wedding day trailer, please do. Â This was the “tease” that they’ve had to live with for the last couple months.
